Tomorrow is my Birthday. Months ago I made plans of preparing a huge, fancy, glamorous birthday cake for me. As usual, when the time comes for me to prepare the cake, I feel so bored I do not even bother.
Last year I pushed myself in doing a suitcase cake. I guess I wanted to make a statement :-)!
This year though, I felt I owe it to myself to be a bit more relaxed on my birthday. I am sure I will not be able to make it, but at least I did not get tired in preparing my birthday cake.
No frosting, no leveling, no filling, just a simple decoration that made my kids say WOW!!
A ladybird, a daisy and a butterfly on a mountain :-)! Cute isn't it?
Tomorrow a dearest friend of mine, Leonidas, will celebrate his birthday as well. This cake is for him too!!
